Our highly successful Gloria Steinem Day for Fair Pay on April 2nd has brought great attention to the issue and the need to pass the Fair Pay Act. The Fair Pay Bill now has a chance to be moved out of the Labor Committee and on to the Senate floor for a vote. Please contact you Senator today. Senate Sponsor, Senator Craig Johnson, has initiated a motion to petition to bring the Fair Pay Bill (S.3936) out of the labor committee. The motion will be voted on by the full Senate on Tuesday, April 15th.
